How many hours a week do you need to work to earn good money as a business coach?
The first thing you have to understand, is that this question has multiple parts to it.
The amount of hours you will need to work if you are already established as a coach, will differ to when you are just starting out.
How many hours do you need to work as an established coach?
Once you are working as a coach you will on average be charging $500 an hour for your coaching sessions, so that might be a weekly client paying you $2000 a month. If you have 10 clients you are earning 20 000 dollars a month. You then theoretically only need to be working 10-15 hours a week because you have your recurring clients.
How many hours do you need to work starting out as a coach?
Before you get to that stage, you will however have to find clients and learn how to keep clients. One of the big problem coaches have is that if you’re losing clients every 3-4 months, you’re not working 10-15 hours anymore. instead, you’ll have to work multiple more hours a week doing marketing and outreach to find new clients. It’s really key to keep clients long term in order to reduce your monthly hours. This is why so many coaches come to the Business Coach Academy.
When you start out you need to be really effective at getting clients. Especially if you are still working fulltime. That’s why we give you all the templates done for you, and all you need to do is test them and refine them on your target audience. Rather than trying to figure them all about by yourself.
Using the PROFIT Coach system
It really depends on how effectively you are using the PROFIT system training and marketing material. On one end there is the potential to work very few hours and earn $40 000 a month. If you are not doing the right thing and not using the system, you could be working 40 hours a week and not earning the money that you want to be earning.
So if you try and figure this out on your own, rather than following our proven system, it is going to be much trickier and take you much longer to get to the stage where you are working your optimal hours. By following the methods we teach you and working the system to Get the clients and KEEP them long term, you can get reach your goals faster than you thought was possible.
As a coach, you want to be spending your time doing coaching sessions, and getting paid for them. Not setting up sales calls and networking.
The key thing is to be able to sign clients effectively, and then keep them longterm. And this is what most coaches don’t realise before becoming a Certified Partner. Your ceiling of earnings is based on long you keep a client. This will drastically reduce the number of hours you need to work to be able to earn the income you want.
